In a truck, every bit of horsepower helps. That’s why Toyota has increased the power in its 3.6-liter V6 engine by 42 horsepower. This 278-hp engine is more efficient. It uses port-injection at low revs and switches to direct-injection at higher speeds. Toyota also added a new automatic transmission and revised the manual for greater response.
