Ready for action, the 2018 Toyota Yaris enjoys an upgrade this year. The designers and engineers have taken a good product and made it better.

New Look
A bold front grille with chrome accents is flanked by updated headlights. SE editions have their own distinctive fascia paired with a piano black mesh grille. The rear end has been redesigned for a more hot hatch stance. SE editions have dark-accented alloy wheels and projector-beam headlights. A new color scheme lets you pair a black sand pearl roof with blue eclipse metallic. Find a deal at McKinnon Toyota dealer serving Montgomery AL.

Quieter Ride
While you can’t see the change, you’ll notice a quieter ride. Engineers have added foam-type insulation in the hollow structural spaces and utilized acoustic glass for the windshield. Floor tunnel silencers, floor panel insulation sheets, and rocker panel protections also reduce road noise.

Safer Ride
With nine airbags and whiplash-lessening seats, Toyota prepares the Yaris for accidents. To help avoid them, it will now have a lane departure alert, a pre-collision system, and automatic high beams. Most rival cars do not have these as standards, and many don’t have them as options.

Trim Choices
Despite its low asking price, the L Edition has Toyota’s Entune multimedia system with touchscreen and streaming audio. The LE adds remote keyless entry, cruise control, and steering wheel audio controls. Available only in the five-door models, SE editions wear piano black trim accents with sport-fabric upholstery and special white stitching. Entune adds a bigger touchscreen and a helpful navigational app.
