Toyota’s subcompact car, the Yaris, is well known for its excellent fuel economy and small size making it a perfect commuter vehicle that can comfortable fit 4. Not only that, but it is quite affordable on just about any budget. Starting out at right above $15,000 for a brand new car, finding a cheaper 2019 model car is going to be quite hard. The Yaris is a great car for the college kid on a budget or even the business person who takes a long commute or travels for work.

The 2019 Yaris Sedan is offered in three distinctive trim levels that gives you the ability to choose from several different combinations of options. Each trim level builds off of the previous trim level giving you an easy way to see what you want to pay for.

Each trim level will be equipped with a 1.5 liter engine that offers an EPA estimated 40 miles per gallon on the highway and 32 miles per gallon in the city for automatic equipped Yaris Sedans and 39 highway and 30 city of manual equipped Yaris Sedans.

Let’s take a closer look at each trim level and see exactly what you are going to be getting and which package is going to suit your needs the best.

For the base level and most affordable 2019 Toyota Yaris will feature the L trim package. This package is going to feature a sporty gloss black mesh pattern grille, a 7” touch screen display with 3 months of Sirius XM satellite radio, remote keyless entry, a roof mounted shark fin antenna, sport front bucket seats, and an active safety system. For those wanting a new vehicle starting at right over $15,000 MSRP, the Toyota Yaris Sedan L is the way to go. This trim level makes for the perfect daily driver that is loaded up with many of the newest technologies found on higher trim levels.

One step up above the L package, we have the LE package which adds to or replaces many of the features on the L trim level. Some of these added features are going to include fog lights, heated power outside mirrors with LED turn signal indicators, a rear spoiler, 16” dark graphite split spoke alloy wheels, and a Smart Key System with push button start. This trim level is going to be the happy medium between the L and XLE packages.

XLE

The highest trim level that you can go with on the 2019 Yaris sedan is going to be the XLE model which adds to or replaces many of the features found on the LE trim level. With the XLE being the top of the line, you are going to get all of the top of the line features available on the Toyota Yaris. These features include LED auto on/off headlights, LED daytime running lights, rain-sensing variable intermittent windshield wipers, automatic climate control, leatherette sport front bucket seats, and a leather-trimmed steering wheel with audio, cruise, and phone controls.
