McKinnon Toyota explains Toyota Military Rebate

As a member of the military or as a part of a military family you are no stranger to giving. Toyota wants to honor the daily sacrifices you make by giving back to you. For that reason, Toyota has created their Military Rebate Program. The program is available to current and former members of the military as well as qualifying members of their households who meet eligibility and other qualifications.

Eligibility Requirements
Who is eligible for the Military Rebate? Active members of the military are eligible provided they meet credit and salary requirements. Household members of eligible military personnel can also qualify. This includes Gold Star families. A military retiree who retired within the last year as well as veterans who were discharged within the last year are also potentially eligible for this rebate.

Additional Qualifications
To be able to apply for the rebate you must meet certain other qualifications. First, you must have proof of your military status when you purchase the car. Proof can be your Leave or Earning Statement, your military ID card, or your DD Form 214, Certificate of Leave or Discharge from Active Duty. You must have a verifiable qualifying salary. Additionally, you must be approved for credit through Toyota Financial Services.

Rebate Terms
After meeting the criteria eligible military personnel qualify for a $500 rebate on the purchase or lease of a new Toyota. In some instances the rebate can be used in conjunction with other offers to provide you with even more savings. The rebate must be used at the time of the purchase or lease of the new car either as the down payment on a new purchase or as a cost reduction on a lease contract. There are maximum contract terms that apply to the use of the rebate when purchasing or leasing a new vehicle. The rebate is available for new, previously unlicensed Toyota vehicles.
