When you think American made pick-up, do you think of the Toyota Tundra? Probably not, but you should. The 2019 Toyota Tundra was designed in California and Michigan, but the design was inspired by locations all across the United States. Each Tundra is assembled in San Antonio, Texas from parts manufactured in various locations.

2019 Toyota Tundra Interior
Whether you are shopping for functionality or luxury, the Tundra has an interior package that will meet your needs. The cabin has a spacious design that allows passengers to comfortably enjoy a ride of any length. Drivers will find controls conveniently within reach, so they can intuitively use the tech features they most enjoy. The Platinum and the 1794 Edition Tundras offer consumers additional luxurious touches in the finishes on the seats and even on the controls. An available dual zone automatic climate control system allows the driver and the front passenger to set temperatures to suit their individual tastes. When situations require additional interior cargo room the Double Cab and CrewMax models of the Tundra offers more space by simply folding up the rear seats. The seats fold up instead of folding flat to help make loading cargo easier while providing extra space.

2019 Toyota Tundra Payload and Towing
People who purchase a truck require the ability to haul or tow cargo should the need arise. The Tundra features a TripleTech frame with an integrated hitch receiver along with a trailer hitch that uses 12 high-strength integrated into the frame for added stability. When properly equipped the Tundra is rated to tow more than 10,000 pounds. Tundra has adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers’ standard tow ratings and has been SAE J2807-rated since 2010. Stopping for gas when towing or hauling is not a big concern when the Tundra is equipped with the available 38 gallon fuel tank. With the available 5.7 liter V8, the Tundra has a Tow/Haul mode that helps the truck maintain lower gears for a longer amount of time so that the truck is not constantly shifting or searching for the right gear when towing. Tundra has an available 4-/7- pin connector integrated into the rear bumper to allow drivers to simply hitch to a compatible trailer, plug in and hit the road. Tundra offers Integrated Trailer Brake Control (ITBC) and Trailer-Sway Control (TSC) on select models to help drivers feel more confident when towing by helping to adjust braking capabilities based on the weight of the trailer as well as applying brake pressure when trailer sway is detected.
