The Rav4, introduced to US markets in 1996, is now in its fifth generation of production, and has seating for up to five passengers. Models There are nine Rav4 models available for 2019. There are four modes from which to choose for improved traction on a variety of surfaces. You can choose from mud and sand, rock and dirt, snow or normal modes depending upon the terrain in your area. When you activate it, this system adjusts brakes, engine throttle and drive force distribution to help control the slipping of the wheels and maintain traction.
